SUBLIMATION BLANKS
Temp and Time Aluminum Blanks
365 degrees for 60-75 seconds. Use medium pressure for heat pressing.
My normal setting is 365 to degrees for 60 seconds with an auto license plate and medium pressure. A 12"x18" print @ 380 for 60-75 seconds with medium pressure.
Small items like keychains, bookmarks and 2.5x3.5 use 350 degrees for 60 seconds and light pressure.
Material Set Up
***PEEL CLEAR FILM OFF BEFORE PUTTING BLANKS ON HEAT PRESS.
- Clean blank with alcohol
- Prepress for 5 to 10 seconds if needed to remove moisture
- Place a piece of protective paper on bottom platen. Place your picture face up on bottom platen. Place you blank (white side) down on your picture. Place another piece of protective paper on top covering entire item.
Note: The above information has produced consistent fine art quality results using an Epson printer and Epson Inks. Other inks can cause varying results. All heat presses are different so you may need to find what temperature works best with your heat press.
