Badass Digital Prints is now offering custom cut services. One of the advantages of sublimation is the ability for us to create custom cut aluminum sublimation blanks, which gives you complete freedom and creativity when designing your products. In this guide, we will explore the process of making custom cut sublimation blanks and the tools that you will need.

Why Make Custom Sublimation Blanks?

When you design your own sublimation blanks, you have the flexibility to create blanks in any shape and size you want. Unlike stock and standard options, custom cut aluminum sublimation blanks allow you to cater to specific customer preferences and offer unique and personalized options. Process of Making Custom Cut Sublimation Blanks

  1. Designing the Sublimation Blanks: Use your favorite design software like Silhouette Studio, Canva, Illustrator, etc.. to create and customize the designs for your aluminum sublimation blank. Size the design to the finished size you want and add any additional elements or shapes as desired 1.

  2. Preparing the SVG File for Cutting: Once you have finalized the design, save it as an SVG file. This file will enable me to cut it out with a CNC router.  In your design software, go to File > Save Selection > Save to Hard Drive and choose the SVG format.

Pricing

  • One Time Set-Up Charge: Varies based on how much work is needed to set up your file. Typically runs between $50-$100.
  • Design Services: I do offer "limited" design services. $100-$300 based on the complexity and time involved.
  • Price Per Piece: Varies based on size and quantity. Minimum quantity applies based on size of design.
  • Shipping: Custom designs are excluded from my free shipping offer for orders over $99.
